In Terra Noctis you play the part of Allen, a lovely nightmare (as contradictory as that sounds) who has to face tons of enemies and solve dozens of puzzles in an adventure where your skills will be fundamental to your success. The gameplay is a combination of the classic 2D platformer with action and adventure elements, just like the games in, for example, the Metroid saga. You'll have to use 'power ups', beat final bosses, and use long-range weapons to solve different puzzles. The game is quite lengthy, and could well take some 10 hours to finish it while you gather all the special objects and unravel all the secrets. Length aside, the most outstanding thing about Terra Noctis is its technical side: the graphics and soundtrack are amazing. The first has a lovely retro feel while the latter includes some really awesome tunes.
