Tweet Land is an innovative game for iOS that uses actual tweets (messages from Twitter) to decide what will happen in the game. The gameplay is very simple: you drive a car, trying to get as many points as possible. The problem is that, along the way, you'll have to deal with all the other cars on the highway ... as well as all the different tweets from people from around the world. Each phase incorporates a number of keywords that, when tweeted by anyone around the world, cause something different to happen in your game. For example, when someone tweets 'terrorist,' a car with bombs will appear, and when someone tweets 'health,' you'll see a first aid kit. You'll have to try to survive like this until the end of each of the 50+ levels, all maked in a retro 2D style that will delight anyone nostalgic for that kind of aesthetic. Tweet Land is a very original and entertaining game. Its only fault is that it's not compatible with iPads or Game Center, two features that could do wonders for it.
