King of Dragon Pass is a complex RPG, strategy and adventure game set in Glorantha (the world of HeroQuest and RuneQuest), where you will have to guide your hero and your clan through the good path, meaning you have to kill all your enemies in the process or simply survive peacefully by coexisting with them. The game is divided in various parts with very different mechanics. For example, you will spend a lot of time managing your clan's relationships with the rest of the neighboring clans, which will take place from a series of very intuitive menus where you can choose exactly what you want to do. However, it will also be common that you star in many events that you need to resolve, as the classic 'choose your own adventure' games: choosing the option that you think is the right one from a series of possibilities. The best of the game is the enormous quantity of background that it brings behind and the story it tells, that if you have a good enough English, it will give you heaps of reading time. As can be observed in the images, the game doesn't have a traditional 'graphic section', but they're all static illustrations where there's no movement. The style used, is not only really good but it also fits the scenario perfectly. King of Dragon is an amazing independent game, capable of offering you hours and hours of fun. But, you will need a good English knowledge and a lot of patience to make yourself in it, as it isn't a especially accessible or easy game.
